If the colour of the light is white, it means that Chromecast is powered on. Verify the color of the LED light.
Reasons for Not Finding Chromecast on Your Devices
Connect the mobile device and your TV to the same network.If you use a dual-band wireless router, ensure your devices are connected to the same frequency. Another thing you can do is to update the router’s firmware – if there’s an update available. If this isn’t the cause for you not being able to connect your Chromecast device to your Google Home app, at least you’ll be safe while online.
